Many thanks for your reply.

Right, that's what I had in mind too. Google ads. Just like
this site. I've met single individuals who make a good living
doing this all by themselves. What could 1,000 students and 50
teachers earn for their school?

Time and effort yes, colossal no.
A teacher gives her class an assignment to write papers about,
say, the culture of Cuba. Normal, no new effort.
Teacher reads and grades the papers. Normal, no new effort.
The best papers are forwarded on to the web team for inclusion on
the site. The web team are a dozen students, who probably
already know how to make a website.

Ok, no problem. I appreciate your reply.
So how do we generate new revenue for all the underfunded schools
all across the country? The taxpayers are fighting a recession
and fed up with new taxes, right?
Do we just keep on doing the same old things, the same old way,
as we watch our kids fall ever farther behind their competitors
across the globe?
Personally, I feel it's not feasible to reject new income sources
unless we have a replacement on hand. And it seems we don't.
