In my building, one AP takes all 6th grade and all of the special
ed /504/student support team stuff in the building. She is an ex
sped ed teacher. The other ap has the entire 7th and 8th grade.
He has extensive experience in mental health/behavior schools as a
teacher and admin. He also does the facilities work. Their
division fits their experience and personalities.

Our counselors divide the school in half by alphabet so a kid has
the same counselor all three years.
