Re: Older Teacher Applicants

Hello and Thank you for responding, "lynne/ca!" To fill in the
void:
- I started subbing in my late 20s. I would like to retire
(conditions permitting) in my late 60s.
- I did move around. At the time I graduated, it was hard to
find a job in my home state, so I moved south to a state that I
liked. Within the state, my reasons for relocating was due to
coaching and wanting to gain experience in different
demographics. I have left all places on very good terms.
- At interviews, I dress well and express myself
professionally, but (to be honest) do "trip up" on some
questions here and there.
- Other than that, my resume is solid, containing numerous
committees I was a part of, some teaching awards, and being an
honorably discharged veteran.
Thank you for your encouragement!
