This is fairly common in our district for candidates who have
made it to the "finalist" round -- meaning the final 2-3
candidates. Initial interview is fairly short and could be
on the phone. The finalists get a performance task, an
additional interview, and have to do a demo lesson.
Not sure what the family photos thing is about, though!
