    Will the teacher, her colleagues, and all the other people
    she communicates with have confidence in you if you
    give in to the parent? More importantly, the student body
    will know about your giving in to the parent as well...if
    they don't already. The lesson they will learn is that
    school policy, standards, grades, good sportsmanship are
    all a farce.
