    If the kid made below a C-- and you believe the teacher
    treated him fairly in grading, which it sounds like you do-
    - then he can't play..the end.

    Even if this parent was a senator, s/he can NOT
    "communicate this to influential friends within the
    district" and get her son's grade changed..nor can s/he sue
    the district.
