You were a loose cannon. I would not have renewed your contract either. You didn't verbally reprimand a kid; you verbally stated that you would physically abuse the kid- a kid whom you didn't even know. Why would the school want to risk having a problem with you in the classroom? yep. Waaaay too much of a risk.
