Re: How does a year off from teaching reflect on my resume?

    People need to take time off for all different reasons. It
    would not matter to me. My advice is to stay current besides
    subbing. Take a professional development course. This will
    show perspective employers about your committment to
    teaching. You moved for your wife, you were not able to find
    a job, but continued to grow in your profession. If you know
    how to teach you will find a job. Make sure your
    professional development is connected to instruction. Good
