There seems to be a common thread in the layoffs. New teachers first then, veteran teachers new to the district, then three year contract. Some are being replaced by teachers on temporary certificates. Our entire district has undergone training for the past 2 years. It does not make sense that they hire and retrain all these new teachers. Is there system that all admin follows? Do they even care that a job loss is devastating to some?
