Post: Changing School

Posted by aqua22 on 5/12/08

I have changed schools 4 times in 6 years, but only once by
choice. Again, I am leaving my school this year to go to a
new one. I have stellar references from all! The reason I
changed the first three was because of district layoffs,
each year they would cut the kindergarten position I was in.
The next time I changed was because the administrators were
not backing me with problematic children and I did not feel
supported. This time I am leaving because the school is
taking away a LARGE supplement I was getting. I just bought
a house with that income. The new school I am going to has
offered me what the school I am at now could not. My
concern is if I ever move to another state for one reason or
another, will having so many schools on my resume look bad?
How can I explain the reasons for switching schools in a
professional way? Any ideas would be appreciated!
