Re: bad questions
Posted by Rebecca on 10/06/08
I usually avoid asking any questions about salary and benefits at the
actual interview. I ask those questions when an offer is actually
made. I want to show interviewers that I am most interested in the
students and teaching, not what I get out of it.
I never ask anything that can be found on the school website.
I do ask questions that show what I feel is important. I always try and
think about what my questions would show the interviewer about myself.
For example, I feel that technology is important. So asking about it
not only gives me more information about the priorities of the district
but also shows the interviewer that I'm not afraid to use technology and
feel it is important to integrate it.
