Interviews are formal situations with specific expectations, on both sides. If
you look back through this thread, you'll see that I initially thought the OP
was asking about what the interviewer shouldn't ask the candidates rather than
the other way around; it works both ways: questions we shouldn't ask you at an
interview, and questions you shouldn't ask us at an interview. For the
employer, it's a legal issue; for the applicant, simply a professional one.
Remember that the interview isn't your ONLY opportunity to ask questions
before accepting a job. In fact, if particular questions are so important to
you that whether or not you're interested in the position depends upon the
answer, you may even want to ask before submitting your application.
