I am an instructional technology specialist in a large
district. I serve 25 schools K-12. Most are Title 1 and
some are specialty schools (alternative and such). Love my
schools.
My boss sent the principals a survey asking how they would
rate me (training, content knowledge,
communication/collaboration skills).
Some responses were good, some showed me where I need to
make improvements.
From the ones that I need to make improvements on, I would
really like to have had a follow up question. If you said,
you didn't see me or have me train at your school, did you
ask me to come? If I came and worked with a grade level or
media specialist, or one person, did you even know (and I
am partly responsible for you not knowing if you didn't)?
So, what are your expectations of an instructional
technology specialist for your school?
Any thoughts are greatly appreciated??
