We spoke to a group of 1,600 educators at the National
Conference on School Discipline in Las Vegas. We are sure
that most came wanting to know the answers to these basic
questions:
How do we reduce the number of discipline problems in
our school?
What do I do if they will not listen?
What do I do if they will not respond in class?
What do I do if they do not do their work?
What do I do if they will not work in groups?
What do I do if they talk too much?
What do I do if they will not answer my question?
What do I do if they won’t sit still?
What do I do? What do I do? What do I do?
Instead of answering these questions, we shared how to
PREVENT the situation from happening rather than suggestions
on how to INTERVENE once the problem occurs. [Click below to

An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure
