You must discuss this issue with the principal's supervisors.
If the principal is as you describe, exhibiting mental
problems, you are endangering children and staff, perhaps the
principal herself, by not doing everything it takes to have
the principal removed for treatment. You have a moral and
legal obligation. Do it and don't give up if the first person
doesn't do something! Perhaps start with a guidance counselor,
but don't stop until someone deals with this problem.
