    I'm planning to prepare a modified entrance plan in the coming days. Does
    anyone have any suggestions on things to focus on for someone entering
    midway through the year? Obviously I'm not going to be making changes
    at this point and will be spending much of my time learning practices and
    procedures as well as the school culture.

    Also, it was suggested that I conduct an in-service during a one-hour time
    slot on my first day. Any recommendations on things to tackle?

    Any general advice also appreciated.
