the term "low man on the totem pole" at an interview? I
said this because I was asked if I had been a department
head before, and I said I had always been the low man on
the totem pole, but I would love the opportunity to use my
leadership skills. I realize now that I may not have
sounded culturally competent.
Would you eliminate a candidate based on this alone? I
could kick myself for saying it.
