When I hear the name, Whistler, I'm always reminder of Whistler,
chief of the Cut-off Band of Oglala Sioux who was killed by
Mortimer N.(Wild Bill) Kress in Nebraska. However, as Wild Bill
Hickok was the legend, even in his own time, he was credited as
the "Wild Bill" that killed Whistler the Peacemaker.
Just though I'd throw that tidbit of trivia your way.
