Hello, I'm looking for a Special Ed job in southeast
Michigan and gone on many interviews but have not had a job
offer yet. So far I've had 4 interviews for teacher
positions, and 3 for teacher aide positions. One of the
teacher positions lead to a second interview but I still did
not land the job. All except one interview was through
public schools.

My sixth sense is telling me that I'm not even considered
for these positions during the interview and that I'm just
their for formality. Do government jobs have interview
quota's? A few friends in the area said they were surprised
I had so many interviews, but I'm wondering if volume might
be because I'm a male? Or something else?
