It's really frustrting to receive practically all "Proficients"
on my formal and informal evaluations. Am I beating myself up?
I'm a 8th year special education teacher. In the past, before
the Danielson scoring, my ratings were higher. It's a common
complaint among our building. We are told that proficient isn't
"bad" but that we are on the "growth model" now, and we should
always be striving. My question: Do administrators hold back on
scoring "excellents" on the evaluation in order to motivate
teachers?? I would love an administrator's perspective.
