I would take the one that was offered. You know what they say about a bird
in the hand. The other district may be on the fence and they may end up
going with someone else. If you drag your feet too long you will miss the
actual offer. We don't always get exactly what we want, exactly when we
want it. Hopefully you will hear back right away from the principal and
that will make your decision easier. But if not, I would presume that they
may want to hire someone else and take the one you were offered so that at
least you have a job.
