    It doesn't sound too bad to me. I wouldn't worry about it,
    but I also would not do this in the future. I would only
    communicate with students in person or with their parents
    during conference or on the phone. Also, these students
    should get in trouble for bringing cell phones to school in
    the first place. It is against school policy in my district.
    Nowadays the school can intervene on matters such as online
    bullying and texting, but I would still deal with those
    matters the old fashioned way, through parents and student
    one-on-one conferences. But once again, please don't worry
    about it. This is hardly something that I would expect to be
    reprimanded for.
